.) Your notebook is your primary tool for studying for exams.  You need to review the key terms that were discussed in class. If you were absent any day during the unit, you must be sure that you got the notes from a classmate.  Being absent does not excuse you from knowing the material!

.) When you study, the best method is to read your notes aloud in front of a mirror.  Read them out loud over and over.  You need to be able to hear yourself in order to commit the terms to memory.

.) Look over your review sheets.  These will again clue you in to the terms you need to know.  Be sure that you can explain each term and give examples.

.) You need to start studying for an exam as soon as it is announced in class.  If you break up the information into small sections it will be easier to handle and you will feel less stress.

.) If you are unsure of a term or a particular concept, consult your teacher.

.) The night before the exam be sure to get a good nights sleep.  If you planned your studying out, the last night should just be a quick review and not hours of cramming and panicking. Be sure to get your pencils sharpened and place them in your bag along with a black or blue pen.

.) The day of the exam, eat a good breakfast. When you get to class take a deep breath and know that you planned to meet the challenge of this exam.  You can be confident that if you followed the plan and worked hard, you will do well.

.) In the unlikely event that you are absent on the day of the exam, you will be required to take a make-up exam on the next school day.
